ACOM is a band-owned company that employs skilled workers from the local Whitefish Lake First Nation community. It has a robust business at present, largely driven through a number of contracts with utilities (ATCO Electric), the Alberta Government (Fire Smart Program/FRIAA), and the private sector oil and gas companies operating in the area.
We are committed to safety culture; we believe our most important assets are our employees. We take pride in daily safety practices that include: daily inspections on equipment, service trucks, gravel trucks etc..., near misses, JSA, PPE and daily tool box meetings. Our team is dedicated to maintaining a safety-focused, and a environmentally sustainable company.
ACOM programs are ISN, Comply Works Certified. CQN and all other safety courses have been completed.
