James Nahachick is the fourth oldest of eleven siblings to the late Frank & Irene Nahachick. Born October 10, 1958. He grew up in Whitefish, in his mid-twenties he left the reserve, returning in 1999. James has worked in a variety of settings such as Gas Jockey at the former T&L store. He has worked in Public Works as a plumber. He was the Water Treatment and Plant Operator for the community of Whitefish, and the maintenance man for the Atikameg School. James is in his forth term and twelfth year as a Councillor of Whitefish Lake First Nation #459; his portfolios include Social Development, Board of Directors - WFLFN Child and Family Services Society, Policing/Youth Justice and Housing.
