Housing Clerk
Term Position (10 months)
Whitefish Lake Nation is looking for highly motivated, dependable, and dedicated individual to fill the position of Housing Clerk. This person will be working out of the Whitefish Lake First Nation Band Administration Office. This is a full-time temporary position, and the employee will report to the Director of Housing.

General office duties: Answering phone calls, writing letters and reports. Record and coordinate maintenance calls, maintaining correspondence, emails, and maintaining contact lists. Filing, photocopying, ordering supplies, and making travel arrangements. Processing timesheets and cheque requisitions. Coordinating contract information, invoicing. Provide Director assistance with annual budget. Processing accounts payables. Preparing grant proposals and month-end reports. Preparing housing meetings that include agenda preparation, meeting packages, scheduling, room preparation, and minute taking. Other duties as required.
Requirements
Employment Requirements
• Office Administration diploma would be an asset
• Related work experience would be an asset
• Grade 12 diploma would be an asset
• Must be willing to take training if needed
Skills & Abilities
• Excellent communication, writing skills and computer skills
• Excellent organizational skills, Polite and professional skills in dealing with people
