About the Role

Whitefish Lake First Nation looking for a highly motivated, dependable, and dedicated individual
to fill the position of Social Development Clerk. This Person would be working out of the
Whitefish Lake First Nation band office. This is a permanent position and the employee will
report to the Director of Social Development.

Requirements

➢ Post-Secondary Education would be an asset (ie. Office Admin etc.)

➢ Valid Drivers License and current drivers abstract, and access to a vehicle for

persoanl job-related transportation, and be prepared to submit a Criminal check and CWIS check

Duties and Responsibilites

➢ Start client files, and maintain a efficient client filing system
➢ Process client powerbills
➢ Answer calls and make client appointments for intake
➢ Distribute cheques
➢ Office duties: filing, faxing, emails, photocopying
➢ Provide admin support to Director as required
➢ Other duties as required

Skills and Abilites:
➢ Must have computer skills
➢ Knowledge of computer data base programs would be an asset
➢ Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills
➢ But be able to work under pressure and high demanding workload
