Employment Opportunity - Executive Director
The Atikameg Healing Shelter for Women and Children will serve Indigenous women, and children escaping harassment and family violence on Whitefish First Nation #459 and the surrounding area. The 6-unit 18 bed facility is currently under construction and the Executive Director will oversee 10 staff members. This position will be accountable to a Board of Directors, and regular reporting on shelter activities is requested.
Atikameg Construction & Oilfield Maintenance (ACOM), and entity of the Whitefish Lake First Nation #459 (WLFN), is looking for a highly motivated, dedicated and responsible individual to fill the position of MANAGER. This person will be working out of the ACOM office in Atikameg. This is a full-time position, and the employee will report directly to the Board of Directors.
